Newton wins Heisman in Landslide

December 12, 2010

Cam Newton had undoubtedly the best season by a collegiate player this year. He also had the biggest scandal. For Heisman voters, the two never converged as the Auburn QB romped away with the prestigious award ahead of Stanford passer Andrew Luck. Whether or not he keeps the award, well, that is yet to be determined, but as of now, he is both eligible and a Heisman winner, and in a month, could be a National Champion.

The Heisman follows up the Davey O’Brien, Maxwell and Walter Camp awards, giving the first year sensation a swag of hardware to take home.
